Effective:

In Plain English

  • We collect information you give us through inquiry forms, plus standard website analytics.
  • We use it to respond to inquiries, deliver projects, and run our business — not to sell to data brokers.
  • We share data only with the licensed partners and service providers needed to deliver your project.
  • We don't sell, rent, or lease your personal information. Ever.
  • You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your data at any time — contact us at info@entection.com.

01Scope & Application

This Privacy Policy ("Policy") describes how ENTECTION LLC ("ENTECTION," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects personal information of visitors to our website at entection.com (the "Site"), prospective and active clients, network partners, and other individuals who interact with our business.

By using the Site or engaging with ENTECTION, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Policy. If you do not agree with this Policy, please discontinue use of the Site and do not submit personal information to us.

This Policy applies to ENTECTION's processing of personal information in the United States. ENTECTION is a Texas limited liability company headquartered in Tomball, Texas.

02Information We Collect

We collect personal information from three sources:

2.1 Information you provide directly

When you submit a contact form, project inquiry, partner application, or SMS opt-in, we collect the information you choose to provide. This typically includes:

  • Name, company, job title, and role
  • Email address and phone number
  • Mailing address (when relevant to a project)
  • Information about the project, service need, or partner application
  • Any other information you voluntarily include in correspondence with us

2.2 Information collected automatically

When you visit the Site, we automatically collect certain technical information, which may include:

  • IP address and approximate geographic location
  • Browser type, operating system, device identifiers
  • Pages visited, time spent on pages, referring URL
  • Date and time of access

This information is collected through standard web technologies (server logs, cookies, and similar tools) and is used to operate, secure, and improve the Site.

2.3 Information from third parties

We may receive limited information from third-party sources, including business directories, professional networking platforms (such as LinkedIn), referral sources, and our network partners — for example, when a partner provides your contact information in connection with a project.

2.4 Categories of sensitive information

ENTECTION does not knowingly collect sensitive personal information (as defined under applicable state laws including the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act), and we ask that you not submit such information through the Site.

03How We Use Information

We use the personal information we collect for the following business purposes:

  • Respond to inquiries — to answer questions about our services and follow up on project requests.
  • Deliver services — to plan, coordinate, and execute facilities management and infrastructure programs through our partner network.
  • Communicate with you — including project updates, scheduling, and (if you've opted in) SMS messages.
  • Evaluate partner applications — to verify licensing, certifications, and qualifications of prospective network partners.
  • Improve our Site and services — through analytics that show how visitors use the Site.
  • Protect our business — to detect, investigate, and prevent fraudulent, unauthorized, or illegal activity.
  • Comply with legal obligations — including tax, accounting, regulatory, and contractual requirements.

We do not use personal information for automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects.

04How We Share Information

ENTECTION does not sell or rent your personal information. We share personal information only in the following limited circumstances:

4.1 With licensed installation partners

To deliver your project, we share necessary contact and project information with the licensed installation partner(s) assigned to your work. Partners are contractually required to use this information solely for project delivery.

4.2 With service providers

We share information with vendors who provide services to ENTECTION, including: hosting and IT infrastructure providers, communication and SMS messaging platforms, payment processors, CRM and project management software, professional advisors (legal, accounting), and insurance carriers. These providers are contractually obligated to protect your information.

4.3 For legal reasons

We may disclose information when required by law, subpoena, court order, or government request; to enforce our agreements; to protect the rights, property, or safety of ENTECTION, our clients, partners, or others; or in connection with investigations of suspected fraud or wrongdoing.

4.4 In connection with business transactions

If ENTECTION is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets, personal information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to standard confidentiality protections.

4.5 With your consent

We will share information with third parties for any other purpose only with your explicit consent.

05Cookies & Tracking Technologies

The Site uses cookies and similar technologies to operate properly, remember preferences, and understand how the Site is used. Cookies fall into the following categories:

  • Essential cookies — required for the Site to function (e.g., navigation, form submissions).
  • Analytics cookies — used to understand Site traffic and improve content (e.g., Google Analytics, if enabled).
  • Functional cookies — remember choices you've made (e.g., preferred display settings).

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling certain cookies may affect Site functionality. ENTECTION does not currently engage in cross-context behavioral advertising.

06Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, including for the duration of any business relationship and for a reasonable period thereafter to:

  • Comply with legal, tax, accounting, and regulatory obligations
  • Resolve disputes and enforce agreements
  • Maintain accurate business records

When information is no longer needed for these purposes, we delete it or anonymize it in a secure manner. SMS opt-in records are retained for the duration legally required for telecommunications compliance, then deleted.

07Data Security

ENTECTION uses commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information against loss, misuse, unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. These measures include access controls, encryption in transit, secure password practices, and vendor due diligence.

However, no system can be guaranteed 100% secure. We cannot fully eliminate the risk of unauthorized access or data loss, and you provide personal information at your own risk. If we become aware of a security incident affecting your personal information, we will notify you as required by applicable law.
